Paiva Gomara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosero Echague, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paiva Gomara made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Hernando Lunar sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute Xorxe Corvera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paiva Gomara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Xorxe Corvera put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Paiva Gomara. Xorxe Corvera in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Vennancio Pascual could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Paiva Gomara made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in CD Masaconsa's zone, Xorxe Corvera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paiva Gomara came out of the goal and Xorxe Corvera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
