Antonio Abadie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Alarcón Bailina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alarcón Bailina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Abadie in the 8th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Conambo SC's goalkeeper Alarcón Bailina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chatruc Caubilla. Flavio Reymondo hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Quero SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ortiz Alday came free, but Martin Gago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ortiz Alday fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Gago having to interfere. Martin Gago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iván Callergos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Gago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iván Callergos's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Flavio Reymondo charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavio Reymondo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Quero SC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Flavio Reymondo hit a great ball. When Ortiz Alday came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Conambo SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ortiz Alday couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the match, Quero SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ortiz Alday came free, but Martin Gago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Gago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ortiz Alday in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Iván Callergos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martin Gago was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Antonio Abadie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Gago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iván Callergos in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Conambo SC's Alarcón Bailina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Abadie in the 52nd minute of play. Alarcón Bailina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonio Abadie's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Iván Callergos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chatruc Caubilla in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alarcón Bailina prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 61 minutes of play, Quero SC's Chatruc Caubilla made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alarcón Bailina was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 64th minute, Conambo SC's Iván Callergos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Martin Gago. Martin Gago yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After 70 minutes, Luciano Montoya mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Conambo SC and the Quero SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Conambo SC's Luciano Montoya got a free kick in the 70th minute. After having played for 72 minutes, Chatruc Caubilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quero SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chatruc Caubilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 75 played minutes Quero SC got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Abadie. With a little luck, Quero SC's Martin Gago got control of the ball when Iván Callergos tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 83 played minutes Quero SC got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Abadie. In the 85th minute Ortiz Alday shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Gago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Vilson Cabezas came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Quero SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vilson Cabezas couldn't finish the play. After 92 minutes of play Conambo SC's Luciano Montoya was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Quero SC booed when Conambo SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Montoya didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Quero SC's Xavon Isazi tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Antonio Abadie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Conambo SC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
