Spectators: 7323 (Terracing: 5494, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 145) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Antonio Abadie took the kick off in the first half of the match. Roger Cañon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute, Vilson Cabezas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vicente Amondo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Arajuno booed when Quero SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Frade didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roger Cañon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Gago read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Vilson Cabezas made a precise shot to the right of Vicente Amondo. Arajuno's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Quero SC's Martin Gago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klimowitz Guinao in the 42nd minute of play. Klimowitz Guinao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Martin Gago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Quero SC's Martin Gago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Cañon in the 56th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Arajuno's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Abadie came free, but Vicente Amondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Roger Cañon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Abel Abancens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute Roger Cañon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Gago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arajuno's Klimowitz Guinao got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roger Cañon might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Gago. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roger Cañon ran back to his position shaking his head. Martin Gago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klimowitz Guinao in the 91st minute of play. Chants of Quero SC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Arajuno had held the ball for most of the match.
