After a rather tough play, UD Sumblid's Ismael Cortada got a free kick in the 14th minute. Tobiasz Mielak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martinez Landeta having to interfere. If Arlín Noya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in UD Sumblid's zone, Teodoro Asegninolaza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marshall Spence came out of the goal and Teodoro Asegninolaza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 26 played minutes UD Sumblid got a freekick which was hit by Ramirez Urueña. In the 32nd match minute, CD Narancay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodriguez Moreyre to maneuver through the defense. Martinez Landeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobiasz Mielak in the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the game, Gustavo Abeitia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Martinez Landeta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Tobiasz Mielak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martinez Landeta was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. When UD Sumblid's Tobiasz Mielak in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arlín Noya stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Arlín Noya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Narancay's goalkeeper Martinez Landeta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When González Carillo fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Narancay's protests and gave González Carillo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th minute, González Carillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodoro Asegninolaza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Marshall Spence tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. UD Sumblid's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobiasz Mielak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martinez Landeta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. CD Narancay's Martinez Landeta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save CD Narancay from getting a goal against them. In the 70th minute, UD Sumblid's Reasco Cerrabe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Martinez Landeta. Martinez Landeta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Asegninolaza in the 74th minute of play forced UD Sumblid's goalkeeper Marshall Spence to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, CD Narancay's goalkeeper Martinez Landeta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tobiasz Mielak. When Calderón Celis fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Narancay's protests and gave Calderón Celis a yellow card for diving instead. Calderón Celis hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. CD Narancay's Martinez Landeta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save CD Narancay from getting a goal against them. UD Sumblid's Vigil Puertas got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, CD Narancay's goalkeeper Martinez Landeta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tobiasz Mielak. After 89 minutes, Diego Aldana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Narancay and the UD Sumblid players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Calderón Celis was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. The CD Narancay fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. UD Sumblid were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
