Oso Conejero made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Xesus Gonzalo sent off a good shot on target. After 11 played minutes Macará got a freekick which was hit by Asensio Buisan. Xesus Gonzalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oso Conejero having to interfere. Oso Conejero made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Xesus Gonzalo sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Macará defense, Luis Panguision kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zumar Losada. The Macará fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zumar Losada should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Candelo in the 31st minute of play forced Macará's goalkeeper Zumar Losada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Macará's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abel Aliceda was slow to take the kick. During this time Udusha SC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Udusha SC's Zumar Ribota getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Candelo in the 41st minute of play forced Macará's goalkeeper Zumar Losada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Xesus Gonzalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roque Loza was the one to do the kick off. When Vladimiro Candelo came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Udusha SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimiro Candelo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xesus Gonzalo in the 72nd minute of play forced Udusha SC's goalkeeper Oso Conejero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute Xesus Gonzalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oso Conejero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Udusha SC's goalkeeper Oso Conejero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Xesus Gonzalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Oso Conejero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Udusha SC played a much better game than Macará and deserved their victory. The Macará players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
