After a rather tough play, Macará's Wilson Botello got a free kick in the 20th minute. The supporters of Believe FC booed when Macará was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Cardona didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Unai Villandiego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aguinaga Mariny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xesus Gonzalo in the 38th minute of play. Believe FC's Aguinaga Mariny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Cardona in the 39th minute of play. Unai Villandiego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zumar Losada having to interfere. Zumar Losada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan-Alfredo Zuri, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 83 played minutes Believe FC got a freekick which was hit by Arias Robres. In the 85th minute, Macará's Augusto Cardona ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aguinaga Mariny. Aguinaga Mariny yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. The audience was convinced that Unai Villandiego's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zumar Losada was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. When Unai Villandiego came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Believe FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Unai Villandiego couldn't finish the play.
