Spectators: 6684 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Danny Ocouto made the kick off which started today's match. When Ubaldo Barbanera fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Iluman's protests and gave Ubaldo Barbanera a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, CD Iluman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Barbanera to maneuver through the defense. Villarreal Collante acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 4th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Maximo Humara. Callancay FC's José-Luis Freijo got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Villarreal Collante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Sereno in the 8th minute of play. CD Iluman's Santiago Fuica got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 13 minutes into the game, Zuriko Davila was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Callancay FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Iluman the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roberto Sereno in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Villarreal Collante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Villarreal Collante stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roberto Sereno's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Roberto Sereno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Villarreal Collante having to make a save. In the 27th minute, Roberto Sereno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Villarreal Collante made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when José-Luis Freijo sent off a good shot on target. When Roberto Sereno came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Callancay FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Sereno couldn't finish the play. Santiago Fuica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Romeo Rugama tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 played minutes CD Iluman got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Ribadas. Vera Mieses made a great header on CD Iluman's corner, it was just that Callancay FC's Romeo Rugama managed to reach the ball for a save.

In the 53rd minute Roberto Sereno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Villarreal Collante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Sereno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Villarreal Collante having to make a save. Callancay FC's José-Luis Freijo got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Sereno in the 62nd minute of play forced CD Iluman's goalkeeper Villarreal Collante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 65 minutes, José-Luis Freijo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Callancay FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José-Luis Freijo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Callancay FC's Roberto Sereno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Villarreal Collante narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Santiago Fuica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78thth minute of the game Roberto Sereno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Iluman's Villarreal Collante was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Romeo Rugama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danny Ocouto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, CD Iluman's goal looked a bit too open when José-Luis Freijo came free, but Villarreal Collante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Zosimo Avedillo fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Iluman's protests and gave Zosimo Avedillo a yellow card for diving instead. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CD Iluman! If Santiago Fuica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeo Rugama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danny Ocouto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Villarreal Collante came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Callancay FC's José-Luis Freijo. But to his dismay, José-Luis Freijo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the CD Iluman players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Callancay FC.
