After 23 minutes of play, UD Amazonas's Zadornin Grau made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hernando Launda was left in no man's land by his defense there! 27 minutes into the match, Urrutia Hubieta notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Perinaco's Hernando Launda. Hernando Launda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hernando Launda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zadornin Grau in the 41st minute of the match. Perinaco's Hernando Launda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zadornin Grau in the 43rd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

In the 56th minute, Perinaco's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Urrutia Hubieta fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match was over UD Amazonas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Perinaco throughout the match.
