Pital's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Denis Terrazas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Xzavier Bedes came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Pital fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xzavier Bedes couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Urtun Tubia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pital's supporters rose to their feet, but Urtun Tubia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Fontecavada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teodoro Horcajo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Vasco having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Zapotal SC's goal looked a bit too open when Urtun Tubia came free, but Alberto Fontecavada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Pital defense, Teodoro Horcajo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogelio Vasco. The Pital fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogelio Vasco should have stopped the shot. 33 minutes into the game, Zapotal SC's Criban Ladra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rogelio Vasco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Rogelio Vasco was a little too slow when Teodoro Horcajo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 4-0. 40 minutes into the game, Zapotal SC's Candelario Zadaya nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rogelio Vasco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 47th minute, Zapotal SC's Teodoro Horcajo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodoro Horcajo was the one to do the kick off. Candelario Zadaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Candelario Zadaya managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zapotal SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Candelario Zadaya was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogelio Vasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pital made a substitution. Dennis Botas replaced Fiallos Barranco. Rogelio Vasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Terrazas in the 64th minute of the match. Rogelio Vasco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Denis Terrazas went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 71 minutes, Urtun Tubia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pital's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urtun Tubia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pital's zone, Denis Terrazas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogelio Vasco came out of the goal and Denis Terrazas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 75 played minutes Zapotal SC got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Horcajo. Alberto Fontecavada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoro Jubera in the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Criban Ladra in the 79th minute of play forced Pital's goalkeeper Rogelio Vasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogelio Vasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Horcajo in the 82nd minute of play. Denis Terrazas scored 9-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rogelio Vasco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 89 minutes, Urtun Tubia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pital and the Zapotal SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Urtun Tubia hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Teodoro Horcajo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zapotal SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodoro Horcajo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rogelio Vasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Terrazas, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Zapotal SC had played much better football throughout.
