Teodoro Horcajo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vellito Barron having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Rixon Nadal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vellito Barron breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th match minute, Zapotal SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candelario Zadaya to maneuver through the defense. Rixon Nadal took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberto Fontecavada. Alberto Fontecavada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 30th match minute, Zapotal SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guerrero Vivera to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rixon Nadal in the 31st minute of play forced Zapotal SC's goalkeeper Alberto Fontecavada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Itachi Uchiha getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Xerardo Monterroso hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Corozo Abaunza fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Vellito Barron, passed just outside the right post. 34 minutes into the match, Zapotal SC's goal looked a bit too open when Rixon Nadal came free, but Alberto Fontecavada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Itachi Uchiha's zone, Teodoro Horcajo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vellito Barron came out of the goal and Teodoro Horcajo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 38 minutes into the match, Rixon Nadal notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Zapotal SC's Alberto Fontecavada. Alberto Fontecavada was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rixon Nadal struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Alberto Fontecavada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itachi Uchiha. Corozo Abaunza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Itachi Uchiha were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rixon Nadal made a kick off. After 51 minutes, Criban Ladra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zapotal SC and the Itachi Uchiha players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Itachi Uchiha booed when Zapotal SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Criban Ladra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Fontecavada came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Itachi Uchiha's Xerardo Monterroso. But to his dismay, Xerardo Monterroso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Rixon Nadal struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Alberto Fontecavada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itachi Uchiha. Zapotal SC's Alberto Fontecavada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rixon Nadal in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute Teodoro Horcajo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vellito Barron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. García Azcaraso hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Zapotal SC defense, Rixon Nadal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberto Fontecavada. The Zapotal SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberto Fontecavada should have stopped the shot. In the 76th minute, Teodoro Horcajo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zapotal SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. In the 79th minute Teodoro Horcajo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vellito Barron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Guillermo Urtueta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itachi Uchiha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zapotal SC the free kick.
