Damian Dubilas made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Jacinto Ezcurra sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leon Remolino during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th minute, Leon Remolino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismael Hontoria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ataulfo Ayala in the 9th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, OBANDO S.C.'s Tales Nunes got a free kick in the 19th minute. 23 minutes into the match, OBANDO S.C.'s Jacinto Ezcurra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damian Dubilas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vellito Manzano took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ismael Hontoria. Ismael Hontoria dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When USFQ FC's Vellito Manzano in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye OBANDO S.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. If Leo Cardenas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ismael Hontoria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vellito Manzano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Cardenas in the 36th minute of play forced OBANDO S.C.'s goalkeeper Ismael Hontoria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Vellito Manzano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ismael Hontoria. OBANDO S.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vellito Manzano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 44 minutes into the game, Ataulfo Ayala was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. USFQ FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OBANDO S.C. the free kick. Ataulfo Ayala hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Paio made a kick off. After 56 minutes, Leo Cardenas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the USFQ FC and the OBANDO S.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, Leo Cardenas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damian Dubilas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tales Nunes went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Damian Dubilas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Paio, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute OBANDO S.C. were awarded a corner. Narcis Agudaru went to the cornerflag to take it. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Vellito Manzano took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Ismael Hontoria to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, USFQ FC's Ataulfo Ayala got a free kick in the 65th minute. Leo Cardenas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Hontoria having to interfere. Ismael Hontoria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vellito Manzano in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Loco Cortina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismael Hontoria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vellito Manzano in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind USFQ FC's goalkeeper Damian Dubilas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ataulfo Ayala did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-5 to the left of a surprised Ismael Hontoria 76 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the game, Vellito Manzano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Ismael Hontoria was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 85 minutes into the match, USFQ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Ezcurra came free, but Damian Dubilas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vellito Manzano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 88 minutes of play, USFQ FC's Vellito Manzano made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ismael Hontoria was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, OBANDO S.C.'s Jacinto Ezcurra got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Narcis Agudaru hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in OBANDO S.C.'s zone, Vellito Manzano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Hontoria came out of the goal and Vellito Manzano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over USFQ FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than OBANDO S.C. throughout the match.
