Tales Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Teo Regil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos-Alberto Bojorquez in the 19th minute of play forced OBANDO S.C.'s goalkeeper Ismael Hontoria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tales Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Regil having to interfere. Jacinto Ezcurra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Teo Regil made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vilson Laviada during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 41 minutes of play, OBANDO S.C.'s Martin Paio made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teo Regil was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 46th minute Carlos-Alberto Bojorquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Hontoria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Hontoria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Ascarraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The OBANDO S.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CD Yungulla were winning 1-4.

The OBANDO S.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CD Yungulla's performance. The match ended with a win for CD Yungulla.
