With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ponce Fabeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ponce Fabeiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santos Valdero went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. When Fabian Tejeyra fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villacis SC's protests and gave Fabian Tejeyra a yellow card for diving instead. Fabian Tejeyra hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. If Vinícius Junior had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36thth minute of the game Vinícius Junior who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villacis SC's Ponce Fabeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vinícius Junior got free with Ponce Fabeiro in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute, Santos Valdero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ponce Fabeiro. The goal made the score 1-6.
