The INDEPENDIENTE DEL VALLE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vennancio Cembraña should have stopped the shot. In the 27th match minute, INDEPENDIENTE DEL VALLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Veronica Valiente to maneuver through the defense. Ursino Dios recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ursino Dios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vennancio Cembraña having to interfere. Ursino Dios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Vennancio Cembraña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Narancay FC's Vennancio Cembraña threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Geancarlos Udaeta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Julio Maeztu fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Narancay FC's protests and gave Julio Maeztu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Narancay FC's Julio Maeztu got a free kick in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 51 minutes, Zosimo Fauria mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the INDEPENDIENTE DEL VALLE and the Narancay FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vennancio Cembraña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Coloma in the 56th minute of the match. In the 68thth minute of the game Borja Muruve who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but INDEPENDIENTE DEL VALLE's Vennancio Cembraña was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vennancio Cembraña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Coloma, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 72nd match minute, INDEPENDIENTE DEL VALLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Veronica Valiente to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Ursino Dios's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vennancio Cembraña was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. INDEPENDIENTE DEL VALLE's Vennancio Cembraña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Coloma in the 88th minute of play. Narancay FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
