With a little luck, West Town SC's Michael Carbasa got control of the ball when Borja Bengolea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xzaiver Barnuevo struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Michael Carbasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soultouk FC. 14 minutes into the match, West Town SC's goalkeeper Michael Carbasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jose Secadura. After 15 minutes, Ubendu Balaguer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the West Town SC and the Soultouk FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 15 played minutes West Town SC got a freekick which was hit by Ubendu Balaguer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Mazuelas in the 18th minute of play forced Soultouk FC's goalkeeper Cristian Olvera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. West Town SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Xzaiver Barnuevo scored to the left of an out of position Michael Carbasa, making the score, 1-0. Ubendu Balaguer was shown his second yellow card after 23 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, West Town SC's Ubendu Balaguer got a free kick in the 24th minute. Michael Carbasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Lloreda in the 25th minute of play. Michael Carbasa made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Borja Bengolea sent off a good shot on target. Emilio Villarmea kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xzaiver Barnuevo got free with Michael Carbasa in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute Soultouk FC were awarded a corner. José Villalaud went to the cornerflag to take it. Borja Bengolea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Michael Carbasa made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Borja Bengolea to make the kick off. The supporters of West Town SC booed when Soultouk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Villalaud didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michael Carbasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Borja Bengolea, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, José Villalaud had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michael Carbasa. West Town SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Villalaud was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Cristian Olvera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Mazuelas in the 60th minute of play. Fabricio Deaguero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Borja Bengolea took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michael Carbasa. Michael Carbasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Michael Carbasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perlaza Villares in the 71st minute of the match. Michael Carbasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Secadura in the 73rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Soultouk FC's zone, Fabricio Deaguero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Olvera came out of the goal and Fabricio Deaguero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the match, Borja Bengolea notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of West Town SC's Michael Carbasa. Michael Carbasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 83 minutes into the match, Bruno Lloreda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michael Carbasa. West Town SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruno Lloreda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Michael Carbasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Borja Bengolea in the 86th minute of play. After 90 played minutes West Town SC got a freekick which was hit by Jose Mazuelas. Soultouk FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
