In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Toreros's goalkeeper Zeledon Nieva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Moreta Lluba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zeledon Nieva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. FC Filadelfia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Toreros the free kick. In the 56th minute, Uzuri Cortiguera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With 59 minutes on the clock, Zernin Osuna commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Los Toreros:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Filadelfia:s goal. The excitement rose when FC Filadelfia's Kléber Siles after 62 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Los Toreros's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 4-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moreta Lluba in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeledon Nieva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 66 minutes into the match, Los Toreros's goal looked a bit too open when Moreta Lluba came free, but Zeledon Nieva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moreta Lluba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Nieva having to interfere. In the 72ndth minute of the game Moreta Lluba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Toreros's Zeledon Nieva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Moreta Lluba sped through Los Toreros's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zeledon Nieva. 77 minutes into the game, Oswaldo Bayona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Zeledon Nieva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moreta Lluba in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeledon Nieva saved Los Toreros from getting behind. Zeledon Nieva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moreta Lluba, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Los Toreros's goal looked a bit too open when Moreta Lluba came free, but Zeledon Nieva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Oswaldo Bayona notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Los Toreros's Zeledon Nieva.
