MACARA's goal looked a bit too open when Fleitas Canellas came free, but Modesto Pero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 minutes of play, Ventanas's Xavier Olarria made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Modesto Pero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gian-Carlo Torron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When López Mexia fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ventanas's protests and gave López Mexia a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 36 minutes, Gavica Blanch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.S.D. MACARA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gavica Blanch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Xavier Olarria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Modesto Pero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Fleitas Canellas came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Ventanas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fleitas Canellas couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denis Cao during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes Ventanas got a freekick which was hit by Denis Cao. After a rather tough play, Ventanas's Yépez Palos got a free kick in the 46th minute.

In the 52nd minute, Ventanas's Xavier Olarria ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Modesto Pero. Modesto Pero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. After 56 minutes, Fleitas Canellas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ventanas and the C.S.D. MACARA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th match minute, Ventanas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by López Mexia to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Xavier Olarria notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of C.S.D. MACARA's Modesto Pero. Modesto Pero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in C.S.D. MACARA's zone, Xavier Olarria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Modesto Pero came out of the goal and Xavier Olarria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 84 minutes into the game, C.S.D. MACARA's Lisandro Puigdellivol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fortunato Briz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. Ventanas made a substitution. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
