Wilmer Peruyera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Urritz Lardero having to make a save. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Patulata's goalkeeper Urritz Lardero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Patricio Roches came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Patulata's Zarbonin Gijon. But to his dismay, Zarbonin Gijon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 8th minute, Elkin Soto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Ugartondo in the 9th minute of play forced Patulata's goalkeeper Urritz Lardero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilmer Peruyera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Urritz Lardero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urritz Lardero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reynaldo Moncada's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Patricio Roches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Montano in the 25th minute of the match. Patricio Roches didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zarbonin Gijon went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Urritz Lardero didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Cango's Camilo Ugartondo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Camilo Ugartondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urritz Lardero having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elkin Soto in the 39th minute of play forced Cango's goalkeeper Patricio Roches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elkin Soto took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patricio Roches. Patricio Roches dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Urritz Lardero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Orengo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Javier Orengo made the kick off in the second half. Urritz Lardero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Ugartondo in the 52nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Patulata's zone, Javier Orengo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urritz Lardero came out of the goal and Javier Orengo tried to chip the ball over his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Elkin Soto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Patricio Roches. That made the score 2-4 in the 88 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Ugartondo in the 92nd minute of play forced Patulata's goalkeeper Urritz Lardero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cango's defense didn't have a chance, in the 97th minute, when Xines Mencia scored to the left of an out of position Patricio Roches, making the score, 2-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Patulata walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
