ChOLaSsO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pablo Sisalde was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, ChOLaSsO's Reyes Marin got a free kick in the 24th minute. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reyes Marin made a kick off. 60 minutes into the match, ChOLaSsO's goalkeeper Calderón Barriga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samaniego Moraza. Díaz Olaiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Pavolleta in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samaniego Moraza in the 63rd minute of play forced ChOLaSsO's goalkeeper Calderón Barriga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atletas de Cristo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
