After 10 minutes of play, Club Deportivo Logroño's Calisto Negrete made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Weather Estivariz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Zayveon Portugal got free with George Catalan in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th match minute, Mendez FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salomon Flayre to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, Mendez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Portas came free, but Weather Estivariz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Club Deportivo Logroño's Mane Bravain nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 28th minute Wilmer Montealegre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Weather Estivariz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Mendez FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramón Arrugueta to maneuver through the defense. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Weather Estivariz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Weather Estivariz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilmer Montealegre, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Club Deportivo Logroño's Calisto Negrete dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Weather Estivariz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Calisto Negrete showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 62 minute of play. If Wilmer Montealegre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute of the match, Mane Bravain got a very nice opportunity to score, but Weather Estivariz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 85 minutes into the game, Zayveon Portugal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mendez FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Deportivo Logroño the free kick. Zayveon Portugal kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. A long shot from Valery Tolentin in the 86th minute of play was well struck, but Weather Estivariz made a really good save at the right post. Calisto Negrete struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Weather Estivariz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Deportivo Logroño. In the 92nd minute Calisto Negrete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Weather Estivariz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Catalan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zayveon Portugal, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Club Deportivo Logroño played a much better game than Mendez FC and deserved their victory. The Mendez FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
