An unexpectedly hard shot by Mai Ting Jian in the 22nd minute of play forced El Universo de Goles's goalkeeper Vergaray Sedan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Camino Rojo's zone, Ramiro Outon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xan Sandines came out of the goal and Ramiro Outon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute, Vincent Marcha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vergaray Sedan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. When Humberto Alguerdo came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Camino Rojo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Alguerdo couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, El Universo de Goles's Lucas Zapata got a free kick in the 31st minute. Vergaray Sedan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Marcha in the 32nd minute of the match. The supporters of Camino Rojo booed when El Universo de Goles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Castañon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vergaray Sedan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xosepe Hortega, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 51 minutes into the match, El Universo de Goles's goal looked a bit too open when Xosepe Hortega came free, but Vergaray Sedan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Vincent Marcha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El Universo de Goles's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Mai Ting Jian scored to the left of an out of position Vergaray Sedan, making the score, 0-4. After 70 played minutes El Universo de Goles got a freekick which was hit by Monge Lira. After 73 minutes, Ramiro Outon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Universo de Goles and the Camino Rojo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ramiro Outon kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Alexis Chupin could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Vergaray Sedan however easily saved by the left post. Alexis Chupin came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vergaray Sedan could save by the left post. Vergaray Sedan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xosepe Hortega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Alexis Chupin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Monge Lira hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the match, Vincent Marcha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vergaray Sedan. El Universo de Goles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vincent Marcha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. The El Universo de Goles fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Camino Rojo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
