Spectators: 8156 (Terracing: 6118, Seating: 1876, VIP seats: 162) Vincent Marcha started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Changaimina's Zabal Espinoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urtsua Relloso in the 4th minute of play. Xan Sandines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavian Villaboa in the 9th minute of play. After 10 played minutes Changaimina got a freekick which was hit by Blanco Vada. In the 12th minute Urtsua Relloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zabal Espinoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ysidro Sagarribay kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. When Hector Pangusion came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Changaimina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Pangusion couldn't finish the play. After 20 played minutes, Changaimina's Cotera Minguez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Xan Sandines came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Changaimina reached it. If Alexis Chupin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urtsua Relloso was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 29th minute. Camino Rojo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The Camino Rojo fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Camino Rojo's Vincent Marcha looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 32nd match minute, Camino Rojo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Rebellon to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Alex Urdapileta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Changaimina getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Xavian Villaboa hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Alex Urdapileta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xan Sandines was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The audience was convinced that Vincent Marcha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zabal Espinoso was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Urdapileta in the 46th minute of play forced Camino Rojo's goalkeeper Xan Sandines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute Hector Pangusion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xan Sandines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Zabal Espinoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vincent Marcha's shot from short distance in the 94th minute.
