Independiente del Valle's Uhin Oseguera couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cuchudel. Blandón Vallino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Cebada in the 18th minute of the match. Veto Candolias took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Blandón Vallino. Independiente del Valle's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Independiente del Valle's goal looked a bit too open when Diaz Pinos came free, but Blandón Vallino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aguirre Losua's late challenge caught a Cuchudel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aguirre Losua helped the player get up and apologised. Aguirre Losua hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Independiente del Valle's Blandón Vallino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Santotis in the 60th minute of play. With a little luck, Independiente del Valle's Blandón Vallino got control of the ball when Fleitas Morales tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Santotis in the 62nd minute of play forced Independiente del Valle's goalkeeper Blandón Vallino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cuchudel's supporters rose to their feet, but Diaz Pinos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blandón Vallino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Blandón Vallino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diaz Pinos, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After 87 played minutes Independiente del Valle got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Villarin. 96 minutes into the match, Independiente del Valle's goalkeeper Blandón Vallino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauricio Cebada. Cuchudel played a much better game than Independiente del Valle and deserved their victory. The Independiente del Valle players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
