Ismael Piñeira lost his temper 31 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 30th minute, one of AC Florida:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AC Florida. Óskar Angileri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramiro Lino in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 50th match minute, AC Florida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Ledo to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alonso Crujeiras during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Morán Gurendes sped through UD Lluillan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Óskar Angileri. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
