Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Navarro Chamorro started the match with the kick off. If Dario Cayado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Navarro Chamorro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Roma de Ecuador FC's zone, Yambay Casa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Cerejido came out of the goal and Yambay Casa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute, Arboleda Valcuende hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Navarro Chamorro got free with Bernardo Cerejido in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cevallos Cortiguera got free with Bernardo Cerejido in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Cevallos Cortiguera took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Bernardo Cerejido to make any attempt to save it. Navarro Chamorro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardo Cerejido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yambay Casa in the 19th minute. Pital's Dario Cayado got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernardo Cerejido was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dario Cayado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 34 minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Pital's Dario Cayado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardo Cerejido made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Navarro Chamorro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yambay Casa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Navarro Chamorro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Bernardo Cerejido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arboleda Valcuende to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Roma de Ecuador FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Cayado came free, but Bernardo Cerejido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Cerejido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xosepin Sombredo in the 54th minute of play. Bernardo Cerejido came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Pital's Dario Cayado. But to his dismay, Dario Cayado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 59 minutes into the match, Roma de Ecuador FC's goal looked a bit too open when Navarro Chamorro came free, but Bernardo Cerejido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dario Cayado scored 6-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardo Cerejido, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Navarro Chamorro scored 7-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardo Cerejido, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernardo Cerejido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Cayado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Cerejido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Cayado in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Roma de Ecuador FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Cayado came free, but Bernardo Cerejido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 77 minutes, Dario Cayado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pital's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dario Cayado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dario Cayado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 82 minutes, Yánez Can managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pital's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yánez Can was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yambay Casa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Cerejido having to interfere. Dario Cayado struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Bernardo Cerejido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pital. In the 89th minute, Dario Cayado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute Navarro Chamorro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Cerejido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pital had played much better football throughout.
