Arboleda Armea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zayvion Barbera in the 13th minute. When Mateo Manojo fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing FC's protests and gave Mateo Manojo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute, Samaniego Lasalde ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florian Wesener was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 27th minute Samaniego Lasalde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Wesener saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Racing FC's Paredes Garay got a free kick in the 28th minute. The supporters of Barcelona Sporting Club booed when Racing FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urtsin Guemez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Barcelona Sporting Club's goal looked a bit too open when Samaniego Lasalde came free, but Florian Wesener reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florian Wesener showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samaniego Lasalde in the 38th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Racing FC's Urtsin Guemez got a free kick in the 41st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samaniego Lasalde in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florian Wesener prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute, Enrique Benvido left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barcelona Sporting Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Samaniego Lasalde came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Florian Wesener could save by the left post. The audience was convinced that Zayvion Barbera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arboleda Armea was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Racing FC's Arboleda Armea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zayvion Barbera in the 66th minute of play. When Augusto Buyolo fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing FC's protests and gave Augusto Buyolo a yellow card for diving instead. Augusto Buyolo hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, Racing FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Benvido came free, but Arboleda Armea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zayvion Barbera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Racing FC's Arboleda Armea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Benvido in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th match minute, Barcelona Sporting Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zayvion Barbera to maneuver through the defense. Ubelteso Amundarain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arboleda Armea having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Enrique Benvido had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arboleda Armea. Racing FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enrique Benvido was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Arboleda Armea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zayvion Barbera in the 88th minute of play. During the 90th minute of the match Mateo Manojo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mateo Manojo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Racing FC! Barcelona Sporting Club's Enrique Benvido got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
