Racing FC's Arboleda Armea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Navarro Chamorro in the 7th minute of play. Arboleda Armea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Navarro Chamorro in the 9th minute of the match. Racing FC's Arboleda Armea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Navarro Chamorro in the 12th minute of play. Arboleda Armea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Navarro Chamorro in the 17th minute of the match. Leonides Ramila hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. If Samaniego Lasalde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arboleda Armea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Cayado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rdth minute of the game Dario Cayado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Racing FC's Arboleda Armea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arboleda Armea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yánez Can in the 38th minute of the match. Yánez Can shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After some careless play in the Racing FC defense, Dario Cayado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arboleda Armea. The Racing FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arboleda Armea should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Navarro Chamorro to make the kick off. Arboleda Armea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pital. Racing FC's Arboleda Armea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Racing FC from getting a goal against them. If Dario Cayado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Navarro Chamorro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Navarro Chamorro got free with Arboleda Armea in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arboleda Armea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Cayado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arboleda Armea was a little too slow when Navarro Chamorro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 0-2. In the 95th minute, Dario Cayado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
