The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ovando Varsana the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of UD Lluillan protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ovando Varsana had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Barbudos FC. Urritz Alonzo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Óskar Angileri. 2-0. After having played for 29 minutes, Teofilo Zaldos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barbudos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofilo Zaldos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernando Maluenda hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. When Xofre Fortis came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the UD Lluillan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xofre Fortis couldn't finish the play. Óskar Angileri was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Olavo Seabra showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 41 minute of play. In the 46th minute, Urdaspal Limofer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Candelario Luaces was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Maluenda during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With splendid footwork Candelario Luaces arrived in front of goal to shoot 3-1 by the left pole in the game's 57th minute. If Fernando Maluenda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Barbudos FC's Martin Conde got control of the ball when Candelario Luaces tried to sneak it across the goal line. But to his dismay, Olavo Seabra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Fernando Maluenda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Martin Conde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Maluenda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Conde having to interfere. Barbudos FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
