Danny Sastre was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th match minute, Xeneize BJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guerrón Ciaran to maneuver through the defense. Chucho Covielles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Roque Antuñano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Danny Sastre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Manila players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Xeneize BJ were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gonzalo Guridi to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Antuñano in the 53rd minute of play forced Manila's goalkeeper Danny Sastre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Manila's Danny Sastre got control of the ball when Gonzalo Guridi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Roque Antuñano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Danny Sastre. That made the score 0-4 in the 59 minute of play. The Manila fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Danny Sastre should have stopped the shot. Urre Mahabe charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urre Mahabe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Walme Basaran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danny Sastre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Manila's Danny Sastre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walme Basaran in the 84th minute of play. A collision led to Xeneize BJ getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Diego Atienza hit a great ball. Danny Sastre made an important save on a dangerous shot by De-Jesús Villamarin in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Guridi in the 93rd minute of play forced Manila's goalkeeper Danny Sastre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Gonzalo Guridi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danny Sastre was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. When the match was over Xeneize BJ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Manila throughout the match.
