Leonardo Arbe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Manila's Danny Sastre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Villegas Codosal in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute of the match, Bernardo Loza got a very nice opportunity to score, but Danny Sastre was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Cunquer FC booed when Manila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Lezcano didn't get a good kick on the ball.
