Alberto Barnechea hit a great ball. Robustiano Sesuldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gonzalo Guridi in the 22nd minute. Robustiano Sesuldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Guridi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Xeneize BJ's Walme Basaran dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. After a rather tough play, Xeneize BJ's Diego Atienza got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Xeneize BJ's Chucho Covielles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Traslago in the 44th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santo Traslago in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chucho Covielles prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santo Traslago was the one to do the kick off. Chucho Covielles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cordero Batalle, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 57 minutes into the game, Xeneize BJ's Gonzalo Guridi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robustiano Sesuldo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Chucho Covielles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Traslago in the 62nd minute of play. With 64 minutes on the clock, Rogerio Rocafort commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Santo Traslago's late challenge caught a Xeneize BJ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santo Traslago helped the player get up and apologised. Santo Traslago kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes Damian’s Team got a freekick which was hit by Santo Traslago. De-Jesús Villamarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pablo Suarez hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Antuñano in the 94th minute of play forced Damian’s Team's goalkeeper Robustiano Sesuldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Despite being the better team, Xeneize BJ failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
