After 40 minutes, Rene Gandarillas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BOMBILLO and the Voltaje FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th minute, Rene Gandarillas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Voltaje FC's Francisco Castrillo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Desiderio Amenedo, made in the 44th minute of the game. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Quiñones was the one to do the kick off. Veremundo Verdeces sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
