After 15th play minutes Derlis Florentin shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Dannes Lerma and just under the crossbar into goal. Dannes Lerma was a little too slow when Garcia Longo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 3-0. 34 minutes into the game, Hogwarts's Arturo Agudo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dannes Lerma made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Dannes Lerma made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Garcia Longo sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Verdansk Football Club's goalkeeper Dannes Lerma, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Orlando Cuetos scored 4-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Agustín Barquerin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

After a defensive mix-up in Verdansk Football Club's zone, Fabricio Llerena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dannes Lerma came out of the goal and Fabricio Llerena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Humberto Udaeta kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Fabricio Llerena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Dannes Lerma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Verdansk Football Club's Raimundo Pejuan got a free kick in the 61st minute. Dannes Lerma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Agudo in the 79th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Garcia Longo during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Garcia Longo hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Derlis Florentin in the 84th minute of play forced Verdansk Football Club's goalkeeper Dannes Lerma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin Quijada kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Derlis Florentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dannes Lerma having to interfere. Hogwarts's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
