The supporters of UD Romeloma booed when Jaramijo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Bouceda didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, UD Romeloma's Espínola Chinchilla got control of the ball when James Leonor tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 9th minute, Matias Bouceda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. James Leonor let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 16th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. Omar Querendil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Porfiro having to interfere. After 22 minutes, Gonzalo Hinojos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jaramijo and the UD Romeloma players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 22 played minutes Jaramijo got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Hinojos. A collision led to Jaramijo getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Ximen Arria hit a great ball. Teo Villalaud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If James Leonor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valdo Rodezno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Espínola Chinchilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 played minutes UD Romeloma got a freekick which was hit by Omar Querendil. UD Romeloma's Espínola Chinchilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Portal in the 36th minute of play. James Leonor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Espínola Chinchilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Espínola Chinchilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Portal, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Espínola Chinchilla successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Jaramijo booed when UD Romeloma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavon Genova didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Ximen Arria from long distance, 47 minutes into the match, got Espínola Chinchilla's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Teo Villalaud's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severo Porfiro was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Jaramijo's Severo Porfiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Villalaud in the 54th minute of play. Franco Verdeces kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After having played for 60 minutes, Valdo Rodezno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jaramijo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdo Rodezno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Espínola Chinchilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdo Rodezno in the 60th minute of play. Reyes Balli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Severo Porfiro made a huge save. Diego Portal might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Espínola Chinchilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diego Portal ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute, James Leonor made a precise shot to the right of Espínola Chinchilla. UD Romeloma's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdo Rodezno in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Espínola Chinchilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Severo Porfiro made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Reyes Balli sent off a good shot on target. In the 74thth minute of the game Diego Portal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UD Romeloma's Espínola Chinchilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Jaramijo's goalkeeper Severo Porfiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reyes Balli. Espínola Chinchilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Portal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severo Porfiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reyes Balli in the 91st minute. Xavies Basanta's late challenge caught a Jaramijo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xavies Basanta helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th match minute, UD Romeloma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavies Basanta to maneuver through the defense. UD Romeloma's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
