Enrique Santoval started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, George Dean had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Barros Pascua. RickyLec's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that George Dean was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 10th minute Enrique Santoval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barros Pascua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barros Pascua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Dean, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the match, RickyLec's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Santoval came free, but Barros Pascua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barros Pascua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Dean in the 14th minute of the match. Barros Pascua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Santoval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th match minute, RickyLec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zuñiga Naranjo to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Santoval in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barros Pascua saved RickyLec from getting behind. Nicolas Trespuentes took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Barros Pascua. Barros Pascua dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Dean in the 45th minute of play forced RickyLec's goalkeeper Barros Pascua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guerrón Estrada kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

Xuban Coloma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 61st minute, Rene Chillon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by Urdin Fraile in the 64th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sanchez SC's Gustavo Villerias. Tonio Forcada kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Barros Pascua was a little too slow when George Dean got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 0-3. Barros Pascua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Santoval in the 75th minute of play. Sanchez SC's Mariano Argumosa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Frutos Persol in the 81 minute of the game. After some careless play in the RickyLec defense, Nicolas Trespuentes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Barros Pascua. The RickyLec fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Barros Pascua should have stopped the shot. Enrique Santoval who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Barros Pascua when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Enrique Santoval took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Barros Pascua to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Santoval got free with Barros Pascua in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. George Dean was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 96th minute. Sanchez SC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the match was over Sanchez SC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than RickyLec throughout the match.
