A hard shot 9 in the game by Torres Socobio from a close distance when the talented Vellito Barrenechea managed to make a qualified save. Vendetta FC's players were relieved. Washington Gorbea had several of the Vendetta FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 11 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Vellito Barrenechea as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 15th minute, Aurelio Bosch reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vellito Barrenechea. The goal made the score 2-0. Paulo Tineo kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Torres Socobio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Vellito Barrenechea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Torres Socobio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blanco Orejas came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Vendetta FC's Salvador Arraiz. But to his dismay, Salvador Arraiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Vellito Barrenechea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Washington Gorbea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dundee UTD's Zambrano Juanes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vellito Barrenechea in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 38 minutes into the match, Dundee UTD's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Goicoechea came free, but Blanco Orejas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cagua Corcoba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blanco Orejas came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Vendetta FC's Rodrigo Hidalgo. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Hidalgo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 46th minute, Wilfredo Escudero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angelo Goicoechea to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Luzuriaga Teijeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Washington Gorbea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Washington Gorbea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vellito Barrenechea having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Torres Socobio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vellito Barrenechea was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Washington Gorbea in the 62nd minute of play forced Vendetta FC's goalkeeper Vellito Barrenechea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Cagua Corcoba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vendetta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cagua Corcoba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 68 played minutes Dundee UTD got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Bosch. Salvador Arraiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blanco Orejas having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Dundee UTD's Paulo Tineo got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute Mateo Viña managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vendetta FC's goalkeeper Vellito Barrenechea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 78 played minutes Dundee UTD got a freekick which was hit by Zambrano Juanes. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Washington Gorbea during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Washington Gorbea hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Aurelio Bosch's late challenge caught a Vendetta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurelio Bosch helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd match minute, Dundee UTD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Bosch to maneuver through the defense. Angelo Goicoechea struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Blanco Orejas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vendetta FC. Angelo Goicoechea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blanco Orejas having to interfere. In the 89th minute of the match Francisco Salero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vellito Barrenechea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Dundee UTD's goalkeeper Blanco Orejas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelo Goicoechea. In the 91st minute, Cántaro Barbera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dundee UTD's Torres Socobio got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
