Cagua Corcoba who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Marco Deza when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Crucitas getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. León Zumiza hit a great ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Angelo Goicoechea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vendetta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Goicoechea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Venceslas Venero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Angelo Goicoechea came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Vendetta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Goicoechea couldn't finish the play. Zabal Urdiales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Vellito Barrenechea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vellito Barrenechea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Leiro in the 40th minute of play. Venceslas Venero charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Venceslas Venero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Crucitas getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Venceslas Venero hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sixto Leiro made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Salvador Arraiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vendetta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvador Arraiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Cagua Corcoba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vendetta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cagua Corcoba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Deza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marco Deza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelo Goicoechea's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. After a rather tough play, Crucitas's Torres Cebollero got a free kick in the 61st minute. León Zumiza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 69 played minutes Crucitas got a freekick which was hit by Torres Cebollero. Sixto Leiro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Vellito Barrenechea skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Marco Deza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Goicoechea, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 77th match minute, Crucitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urtzi Moyano to maneuver through the defense.
