Elias Tercilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Salcines, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Elias Tercilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chico Carabajo in the 12th minute of the match. Chico Carabajo hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. A throw-in in the 15th minute of the game was made by Macias Piñango with Fidel Alcedo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Elias Tercilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Salcines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgardo Queduro took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nando Torralbo. Nando Torralbo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angel Lizaso got free with Elias Tercilla in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nando Torralbo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Queduro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Salcines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Tercilla having to interfere. Elias Tercilla came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Carnot's Angel Lizaso. But to his dismay, Angel Lizaso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Elias Tercilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angel Lizaso in the 41st minute. 44 minutes into the match, Chico Carabajo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Elias Tercilla, 2-1.

OLIMPIA made a substitution. De-la-Cruz Dorado replaced Zayvion Valcarce. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgardo Queduro to strike the kick off in the second half. Carnot's Nando Torralbo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Queduro in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Queduro in the 57th minute of play forced Carnot's goalkeeper Nando Torralbo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, OLIMPIA's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Salcines came free, but Elias Tercilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Angel Lizaso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elias Tercilla. OLIMPIA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angel Lizaso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Carnot's Angel Lizaso quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Francisco Agraña, made in the 71st minute of the game. In the 76th minute, Chico Carabajo made a precise shot to the right of Elias Tercilla. OLIMPIA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, De-la-Cruz Dorado took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for Nando Torralbo to make any attempt to save it. Elias Tercilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Salcines in the 85th minute of the match. The OLIMPIA players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Carnot from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
