Abandonados FC's Julio Clarabout played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Barreneche in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Abandonados FC's Rodas Borines got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Julio Clarabout was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Asensio Gordo. Rodas Borines kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. A hard shot 37 in the game by Zornin Albalate from a close distance when the talented Julio Clarabout managed to make a qualified save. Abandonados FC's players were relieved. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauricio Barreneche in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Clarabout prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Abandonados FC defense, Mauricio Barreneche kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Clarabout. The Abandonados FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Clarabout should have stopped the shot. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mauricio Barreneche made a kick off. Ataulfo Enciso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentim Valderramal in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Alberto Randoli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Ceilan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abandonados FC the free kick. After 55 played minutes CD Ceilan got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Randoli. After 56 played minutes, Abandonados FC's Maximo Holguin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ataulfo Enciso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Abandonados FC reached it. The supporters of CD Ceilan booed when Abandonados FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentim Valderramal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd match minute, CD Ceilan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Aguirre to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauricio Barreneche in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Clarabout prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Figueroa Ziarza hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. If Aguirre Gallano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zornin Albalate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Julio Clarabout tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauricio Barreneche in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Clarabout saved Abandonados FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauricio Barreneche in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Clarabout prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
