Emiliano Urbilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rolando Briones was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Valentim Valderramal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. After 19 played minutes Atlético Estudiantil got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Amurrio. In the 22nd minute, one of Atlético Estudiantil:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Atlético Estudiantil. In the 25th minute there was a penalty for Abandonados FC. Maximo Holguin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rolando Briones. 2-1. In the 29th minute, Valentim Valderramal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rolando Briones. The goal made the score 3-1. A sloppy throw-in by Maximo Holguin in the 33rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Atlético Estudiantil's Urdaspal Areta. Hugo Mijancas made in the 35th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Bernardo Amurrio however managed to control. Rolando Briones showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentim Valderramal, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blandón Lazaro in the 40th minute of play forced Abandonados FC's goalkeeper Emiliano Urbilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Abandonados FC's zone, Blandón Lazaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emiliano Urbilla came out of the goal and Blandón Lazaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
