In the 5th minute, León Farell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonardo Muc was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 9 minutes of play, CD Balbina's Vergaray Mollinedo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonardo Muc was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Rey Sebastian came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the CD Guabillo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rey Sebastian couldn't finish the play. Leonardo Muc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerson Esqueda, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. CD Guabillo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jerson Esqueda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After a rather tough play, CD Balbina's Pancho Vial got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 38 minutes into the match, CD Guabillo's goal looked a bit too open when Vergaray Mollinedo came free, but Leonardo Muc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonardo Muc came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by CD Balbina's Jerson Esqueda. But to his dismay, Jerson Esqueda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. After some careless play in the CD Guabillo defense, Coronel Nembro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonardo Muc. The CD Guabillo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonardo Muc should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rey Sebastian was the one to do the kick off. Jerson Esqueda who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Leonardo Muc when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, CD Guabillo's Leonardo Muc got control of the ball when Jerson Esqueda tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 58th minute Vergaray Mollinedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Muc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonardo Muc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vergaray Mollinedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Jerson Esqueda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Leonardo Muc made a huge save. León Farell took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonardo Muc. Leonardo Muc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. CD Guabillo's Leonardo Muc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vergaray Mollinedo in the 91st minute of play.
