In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Estudiantil's goalkeeper Rolando Briones, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Atlético Estudiantil's Rolando Briones got control of the ball when Oldřich Juřík tried to sneak it across the goal line. 48 minutes into the game, Hugo Mijancas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
