Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zorion Sallas got the match started through his kick off. After 19 minutes of play, Juananu FC's Zorion Sallas made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Briones was left in no man's land by his defense there! 24 minutes into the match, Juananu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fiallos Limpias came free, but Eduardo Llantaron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Atlético Estudiantil booed when Juananu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kris Atom didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Atlético Estudiantil getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Casado Jolis hit a great ball. Rolando Briones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kris Atom in the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Atlético Estudiantil's goal looked a bit too open when Zorion Sallas came free, but Rolando Briones reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Urdaspal Areta charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urdaspal Areta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Urdaspal Areta hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Eduardo Llantaron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Amurrio, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When Kris Atom fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juananu FC's protests and gave Kris Atom a yellow card for diving instead. Kris Atom kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Rolando Briones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kris Atom in the 39th minute of play. Kris Atom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Urdaspal Areta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Blandón Lazaro in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eduardo Llantaron saved Juananu FC from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Blandón Lazaro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Atlético Estudiantil's Rolando Briones got control of the ball when Hannibal Lecter tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rolando Briones was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Kris Atom capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kris Atom really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Rolando Briones came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Juananu FC's Zorion Sallas. But to his dismay, Zorion Sallas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Eduardo Llantaron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blandón Lazaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Galeno Nobo kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute of the match Xandro Fontan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eduardo Llantaron showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Atlético Estudiantil's Rixon Romero got a free kick in the 70th minute. Blandón Lazaro struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Eduardo Llantaron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Estudiantil. Rolando Briones was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Taurino Nadal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Taurino Nadal really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. If Zorion Sallas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Juananu FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
