With his leg Xzavion Paradela managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when No seas Sapo's Rodney Calvillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rodney Calvillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elvis Losado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vergaray Mollinedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 46 minutes into the game, Ponce Carreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. No seas Sapo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Balbina the free kick. After a rather tough play, No seas Sapo's Ponce Carreira got a free kick in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Elvis Losado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosero Cucurull, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerson Esqueda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elvis Losado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Jerson Esqueda scored 0-3 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elvis Losado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vergaray Mollinedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in No seas Sapo's zone, Vergaray Mollinedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elvis Losado came out of the goal and Vergaray Mollinedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jerson Esqueda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Rodney Calvillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. No seas Sapo's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodney Calvillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xzavion Paradela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 85 minutes into the match, No seas Sapo's goal looked a bit too open when Vergaray Mollinedo came free, but Elvis Losado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerson Esqueda got free with Elvis Losado in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 90 played minutes No seas Sapo got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Echenique. In the 93rd minute Vergaray Mollinedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvis Losado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. CD Balbina had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
