Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) CD Balbina's Vergaray Mollinedo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Xzavion Paradela came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Abandonados FC's Veremundo Cuenca. But to his dismay, Veremundo Cuenca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. González Ameda hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After 11 minutes, León Farell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Balbina and the Abandonados FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Abandonados FC's Julio Clarabout in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CD Balbina's goalie prevented a goal. Emiliano Urbilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vergaray Mollinedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Julio Clarabout shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xzavion Paradela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xzavion Paradela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Figueroa Ziarza's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Abandonados FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vergaray Mollinedo came free, but Emiliano Urbilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xzavion Paradela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Clarabout, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodas Borines during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Julio Clarabout made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Pancho Vial hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Veremundo Cuenca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Xzavion Paradela made a huge save. Emiliano Urbilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from León Farell, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute, León Farell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abandonados FC's Emiliano Urbilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vergaray Mollinedo in the 64th minute of play. Veremundo Cuenca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68thth minute of the game Julio Clarabout who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Balbina's Xzavion Paradela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emiliano Urbilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerson Esqueda, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. CD Balbina's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rosero Cucurull in the 73rd minute. The corner led CD Balbina's Rosero Cucurull to fire away a dangerous shot which Emiliano Urbilla despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Vergaray Mollinedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Clarabout sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Julio Clarabout fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Xzavion Paradela, passed just outside the right post. Rosero Cucurull hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Veremundo Cuenca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 97 minutes into the game, Coronel Nembro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Balbina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abandonados FC the free kick.
