Armando Hordoñez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victoriano Galdo having to make a save. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Aurelio Martijana sped through CAIW's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Victoriano Galdo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omar Miralles in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victoriano Galdo saved CAIW from getting behind. Victoriano Galdo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armando Hordoñez went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Hordoñez in the 25th minute of play forced CAIW's goalkeeper Victoriano Galdo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xavion Rulan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hector Cavadas's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Zilar Castelo's late challenge caught a Almendral's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zilar Castelo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to CAIW getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Zilar Castelo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Hordoñez in the 32nd minute of play forced CAIW's goalkeeper Victoriano Galdo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omar Miralles in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victoriano Galdo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute, Omar Miralles made a precise shot to the right of Victoriano Galdo. CAIW's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Lopez Sociats kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Ubaldo Rado hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Victoriano Galdo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Miralles in the 42nd minute of the match. Almendral's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Méndez Orgaz scored to the left of an out of position Xavion Rulan, making the score, 2-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

After a rather tough play, Almendral's Luciano Tremiño got a free kick in the 51st minute. A collision led to Almendral getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Armando Hordoñez hit a great ball. Victoriano Galdo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Miralles in the 59th minute of play. If Yépez Cotes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 minutes of play, Almendral's Omar Miralles made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victoriano Galdo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Omar Miralles scored 2-5 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victoriano Galdo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of CAIW booed when Almendral was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lavallén Libran didn't get a good kick on the ball. CAIW's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Armando Hordoñez 73 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-6. In the 76th match minute, CAIW was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vistruario Ucedo to maneuver through the defense. Almendral's Aurelio Martijana shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 77th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Victoriano Galdo but with some difficulty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Hordoñez in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victoriano Galdo saved CAIW from getting behind. Omar Miralles came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Victoriano Galdo could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omar Miralles in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victoriano Galdo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 92nd minute, Omar Miralles reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Victoriano Galdo. The goal made the score 2-7. After a rather tough play, Almendral's Aurelio Martijana got a free kick in the 95th minute. The CAIW fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Almendral were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
