Teofilio Ubago came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by New Team's Venerando Rosines. But to his dismay, Venerando Rosines quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 29th minute, Estacio Miñon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teofilio Ubago was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. In the 32nd minute, Venerando Rosines made a precise shot to the right of Teofilio Ubago. Sao FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilson Ibarguen in the 36th minute of play forced Sao FC's goalkeeper Teofilio Ubago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teofilio Ubago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venerando Rosines in the 37th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Cotera Cañas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Martinez Eguilaz, 2-6. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Estacio Miñon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Martinez Eguilaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cotera Cañas, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. With a little luck, Sao FC's Teofilio Ubago got control of the ball when Estacio Miñon tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 76th minute, Cotera Cañas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sao FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-8.
