Guayaquil S.C.'s Xalvador Rodas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvis Porras in the 31st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aguirre Pulido got free with Xalvador Rodas in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xalvador Rodas came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by MamiBella FC's Aguirre Pulido. But to his dismay, Aguirre Pulido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. If Elvis Porras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Aguirre Pulido made a precise shot to the right of Xalvador Rodas. Guayaquil S.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.
