Spectators: 7280 (Terracing: 5980, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Roque Martino took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, Emelec SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Nero to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Emelec SC's Luciano Nero got a free kick in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Inter de Sonic Power's España Nieto broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 14th minute, Marquez Alonzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 16 played minutes Inter de Sonic Power got a freekick which was hit by Salomon Alberete. 25 minutes into the match, Inter de Sonic Power's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Martino came free, but Jorg Fondria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ysmael Masseda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ysmael Masseda took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vitin Cagigas. Vitin Cagigas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Vasan Gosar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vasan Gosar succeeded in the game's 44th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vasan Gosar was the one to do the kick off. Inter de Sonic Power's Ysmael Masseda got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Salomon Alberete got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ysmael Masseda fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inter de Sonic Power's protests and gave Ysmael Masseda a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th minute, Ysmael Masseda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roque Martino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jorg Fondria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Emelec SC's Jacinto Barboa got a free kick in the 61st minute. Inter de Sonic Power's Viviano Zubizarrieta shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 62nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Vitin Cagigas but with some difficulty. In the 65th minute, Ysmael Masseda fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Vitin Cagigas, passed just outside the right post. With a little luck, Emelec SC's Vitin Cagigas got control of the ball when Vasan Gosar tried to sneak it across the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Viviano Zubizarrieta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inter de Sonic Power's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Emelec SC the free kick. In the 68th minute, Viviano Zubizarrieta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vasan Gosar took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vitin Cagigas. Vitin Cagigas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 75th minute Salomon Alberete suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zumar Sampedro during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Inter de Sonic Power booed when Emelec SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zumar Sampedro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ysmael Masseda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitin Cagigas having to interfere. Ysmael Masseda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute, Inter de Sonic Power's Ysmael Masseda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vitin Cagigas. Vitin Cagigas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. 88 minutes into the match, Emelec SC's goalkeeper Vitin Cagigas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vasan Gosar. Vasan Gosar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Vasan Gosar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter de Sonic Power fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Inter de Sonic Power's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
