An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Armona in the 7th minute of play forced UD Boqueron's goalkeeper Wellington Corroto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zayvion Llama kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the game, Warriors FC's Bagui Viz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wellington Corroto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Alejandro Armona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wellington Corroto having to interfere. After having played for 19 minutes, Bagui Viz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Warriors FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bagui Viz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Burbano Miño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Guera in the 21st minute of play. Robin Bermudez's late challenge caught a UD Boqueron's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robin Bermudez helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Warriors FC's zone, Navarro Puente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Burbano Miño came out of the goal and Navarro Puente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cristian Guera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Warriors FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of UD Boqueron:s goal. Warriors FC:s Burbano Miño showed great skill when he stopped Cristian Guera:s penalty. Warriors FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vermudo Cedeno in the 33rd minute. The corner led Warriors FC's Alejandro Armona to a score. 0-3 in the 34th minute. If Alejandro Armona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wellington Corroto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bagui Viz in the 40th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Robin Bermudez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wellington Corroto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristian Guera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Navarro Puente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burbano Miño having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alejandro Armona to make the kick off. Wellington Corroto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bagui Viz, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 59th minute, Cristian Guera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Burbano Miño was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Bagui Viz took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wellington Corroto. Wellington Corroto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Wellington Corroto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Bermudez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Navarro Puente might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Burbano Miño. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Navarro Puente ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristian Guera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burbano Miño having to interfere. With a little luck, UD Boqueron's Wellington Corroto got control of the ball when Alejandro Armona tried to sneak it across the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, UD Boqueron's Navarro Puente nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Burbano Miño made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Wellington Corroto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cristian Guera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Warriors FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
